The 2023 Toyota Zenix has undergone a complete redesign in terms of its exterior. It showcases a refreshed appearance with notable features such as a redesigned grille encompassed by chrome, sleek LED headlamps that slope back, triangular inserts on the front bumper housing LED daytime running lights on both sides, a streamlined air dam with fog lights on either side, 18-inch silver alloy wheels, dual-tone outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), blacked-out B and C-pillars, door visors, wraparound LED tail lights, an integrated spoiler, and a high-mounted stop lamp.
The all-new Toyota Zenix utilizes a monocoque chassis and features a front-wheel drive (FWD) layout. In terms of its size, this MPV has a length of 4,755mm, a width of 1,850mm, and a height of 1,795mm. The ground clearance of the vehicle measures at 185mm.
As for the powertrain options, the Toyota Zenix offers a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates 172bhp and 187Nm of torque. Additionally, there is an option for a hybrid variant equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol engine and an electric motor. In this hybrid configuration, the electric motor produces an additional 111bhp and 206Nm of torque. It’s worth noting that the mentioned specifications pertain to the Indonesian-spec model, and it is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Moving on to the interior, the Toyota Zenix offers a host of upgrades. It includes a panoramic sunroof, a dual-tone brown and black color scheme, an all-new 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, silver trims on the dashboard, digital controls for the air conditioning, second-row captain seats, 10-inch screens for the second-row passengers, a redesigned steering wheel, a higher-placed gear lever in the center console, cruise control, ambient lighting, an electronic parking brake, and a new instrument cluster.
