How It Works?
AT REST
When starting the car, driving at constant speed in low and mid-speed ranges, and at full stop, the electric motor takes over for the engine, minimizing fuel consumption.
RAPID ACCELERATION
When you need to go faster, the gasoline engine automatically activates and adds its power. This also charges the battery that electric motors.
WHEN STOPPING
When the brakes are applied, an electronically controlled brake system (ECB) uses kinetic energy to recharge the electric motors’ battery. With this Regenerative Brake System, you don’t need to plug in any Toyota hybrid vehicle.
