This van is the most luxurious in the Toyota Hiace family. It has a dimension of  5,300mm x 1,970mm x 1,990mm with a 3,210mm wheelbase and 175mm of ground clearance.

The exterior has been designed to take a more aggressive front with LED headlamps as well as daytime running lights. It also has a decent amount of chrome trim which makes the front look more stylish.  The rear portion is accented by bigger LED taillights.

Uncompromising comfort, well-thought-out design and comprehensive convenience find harmony in the Hiace Super Grandia. The captain’s seats with power recliners is an ultimate in comfort.  Toyota did not design this van with center seats but placed spacious console boxes to place essentials during road trips.

All variants features dark colored interiors with leather seats.  The dash, door panels, armrests and steering wheels have glossy wood trims.

What sets the Toyota Hiace Super Grandia from others would be the two pairs of captain’s chairs at the rear portion. Depending on what trim chosen, the interior can contain an ottoman with power adjustment,   Second row captain’s chairs found in the Elite Super Grandia has a quilted pattern, some wood trim on the armrests and more comfortable head rests.

The turbodiesel of the Hiace Super Grandia makes for easy driving.  This van has a 2.8-liter twin cam turbo intercooler diesel that has 176 PS and 450 Nm. This van comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and runs on diesel which makes it a more practical choice.

This luxury van has 17″ alloy wheels and 4 disc brakes all around.  Suspension are MacPherson struts and a 4 link coil at the front and rear. This has power steering capabilities.

The Hiace Super Grandia is the first vehicle equipped with the Toyota Safety Sensor (TSS) feature that has a pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert and automatic high beam controls.  The ABS has reverse parking camera, stability control and hill start assist.
